Prefer to shop in-person? We are working with local storefronts throughout the Twin Cities to get our products in their shops. Below is a list of shops currently carrying a portion of our products! If you're a shop owner and would like to carry any of our products, including our Creative Resistance line, please reach out on Instagram or via the Contact form!

The Available At search filter on our Collections page can be used to see which products each shop may have in stock. Note that we cannot guarantee that the products are still in stock, but we will try and refill their stock on a regular basis!

We are a design and letterpress company based in Minneapolis Minnesota. We founded Bench Pressed in 2012 when we bought a small tabletop letterpress and moved it into our spare bedroom. Ten years later, expanded into a studio-slash-retail space and care for six vintage presses (and counting). We now design, print and package our products out of our shop in the Seward neighborhood. We love making hand-drawn and -printed letterpress cards and gifts that are "tongue-in-cheek with a little sweet."

We're owned and operated by Sarah Sweet and Angela Lessman. Teamwork makes the dream work with smiley friends Wishy, Cori, Carly, and Lauren. If you're lucky, you might even get to meet occasional shop dog Zilla who loves to help you shop in exchange for pets! We are huge fans of shopping small and independent makers like us. So, 18 years ago we opened a creative space to showcase local artists' wares. Over the years, i like you has grown to two stores and collaborated with over 300 artists. Our shops are jam-packed with local and independent handmade magic.

Markella Smith is, first and foremost, a mom to 3 amazing boys. She is also a community organizer, small business advocate and self proclaimed serial-entrepreneur! An all round ray of sunshine, she is someone who strives to always see the bright side to life! A life-long Northsider, Markella wanted to create a space that brought the feel of the village back to North Mpls, and provided space for entrepreneurs, no matter their age or race, to thrive! From that vision, The Dream Shop was birthed!
